Colouring

Customised hair colour

Choosing the right hair colour can be a daunting task. Skin tone and eye colour are the main things to keep in mind when picking your shade. Here are a few tips that should help:

If you have olive skin, you should choose golden blond or copper brown shades. They will highlight your skin and make it appear more radiant.

If you have fair skin, you are better off choosing cool shades like ash blond and brown tones. Copper colours should be avoided as they tend to draw too much attention to red tones in the face.

If you have medium to dark skin, choose warm or dark tones like brown and mahogany. Since they pair well with your skin colour, they will help emphasise your eyes and features.

If you follow these tips, you are sure to find a colour that will spotlight your features and help you look your best.

If you are looking for a radical change and choose a shade that is very different from your natural colour, you should be aware that hair grows about one centimetre per month on average. This means your roots will show more quickly and that your hair colour will require more maintenance. Also, if you are colouring your own hair using a store-bought hair product, remember that there are many other factors you need to take into consideration.
