This booklet discusses four problems affecting the lives of men: hair loss, sexual problems (erectile dysfunction in particular), the prostate (hypertrophia and cancer) and andropause. It is intended for men suffering from one of these health problems and those who want to have more information as a preventive measure.
Among other things, we explain each of these four problems, their causes, their consequences on health, the associated risk factors, as well as the available treatments. Useful tools were integrated: a tool to evaluate benign prostatic hypertrophia symptoms, and two questionnaires to evaluate the risk of suffering from andropause.

Hair loss will affect a great many men, some earlier than others. Occasionally, it even starts with the onset of puberty. Concern over hair loss isn’t just about vanity. It can have serious social and psychological effects. Men who lose their hair are more likely to have a negative body image and to feel older than they really are. This can cause serious anxiety, which can in turn affect confidence and interpersonal relationships.
