This booklet deals mostly with the health aspect of travel. In it you will find pertinent and concrete information as well as practical tips to prepare your next departure. It explains such things as how to prepare in light of state of health, how to deal with a variety of health problems you may encounter while travelling, what to do upon your return home, etc.
You will also find tools to help you with your preparation, such as a general travel reminder for your trip, a check list of articles to include in your suitcases, and space to write to-do tasks and some personal notes.
Malaria is a disease transmitted by mosquitoes, which are especially active from sunset to sunrise. It is found in many areas of the world. It is a serious illness, which should not be taken lightly. Contrary to popular belief, malaria is present in the Caribbean, including some parts of the Dominican Republic, and in other popular sun destinations. Even travellers who stay in high-end holiday resorts can be exposed to this disease.
Read it and place it in your bags.
It could come in very handy!
These brochures are available in participating PROXIM branches. While supplies last.
