Channelling Children's Energy

Is talking on the phone difficult when your two year old toddler is around? Have you given up on eating out with your little tornado hopping around between tables and knocking down water glasses?

Even basic chores can become a challenge thanks to your little one! But that’s normal. Before the age of three, children can amuse themselves for fifteen minutes at the most! It is up to the parent to distract and suggest various and brief games. By channelling your child’s energy through structured activities, you’ll prevent that it evolve into mischief!

Children become more independent as they age. At four years of age, a child will find growing pleasure at learning through games. A good way to stimulate your child’s interest while allowing you to complete your daily tasks is to have your child participate: mix ingredients for a recipe, weed the garden, dry a cauldron, etc. These activities will also help your preschooler develop motor skills and self esteem.
