Its component aloin, moisturizes the skin, while slowing the aging process; it sooths the skin and helps scaring. This is why aloe vera extract is found in cosmetics as well as used in medicine. Aloe vera gel contains several vitamins (A, B, C and E), enzymes and minerals.
