Community involvement: our support for Leucan and the Shaved Head Challenge
Since 2011, Proxim has been proudly committed to Leucan, actively contributing to improving the lives of children with cancer and their families. Thanks to the dedicated involvement of our members, we are strengthening Leucan's mission: to provide support and comfort to children and their loved ones.Shaved Head Challenge
As the official partner of Leucan's Shaved Head Challenge since 2016, we also organize our very own annual challenge to show our support for children living with cancer.
At the last event, in 2025, we donated over $7 122 to the organization, thanks to the commitment of seven amazing people from our Proxim network who agreed to proudly sport the “Leucan cut”. Thank you for supporting this cause!
Cash register donation campaign
Every year, our Proxim stores organize a fundraising campaign across Quebec. From April 30 to May 27, 2026, we invite you to support children with cancer and their families. Here is the impact of your donations:
- Fight cancer and improve treatments: By giving to Leucan, you invest in clinical research to fight childhood cancer and improve treatments.
- Comfort, inform and guide: Thanks to you, families have access to ongoing support, from wherever they are.
- Alleviate physical and psychological pain: Your help allows Leucan to listen and respond to the physical and emotional needs expressed by children and their families.
- Break isolation and contribute to well-being: Your donations prevent families affected by the disease to become isolated.
- Provide financial assistance: Your gifts help families overcome the unexpected financial burden of cancer.
